Getting Started with Global Time System (GTS)

This job aid explains how to log on and get started with GTS on your desktop.
Access GTS
- To access GTS, complete the following:
- Use the URL: https://unitedhealthgroup-sso.prd.mykronos.com
- Enter your Single Sign on Credentials of MSID/EmployeeID and Password (if required).
Signing Out of GTS
Signing Out of GTS:
- Closes your session
- Signals to the application that you no longer require access to any of its components
- Prevents other people from accessing your information
To log off GTS, tap the Main Menu icon and select Sign Out.
Home Page Overview
The Home page is composed of tiles, which are containers that display a summary of content from product components. You can click a tile to perform a function such as submit a PTO request. You can also navigate to application-specific components, and take actions on schedules, timecards, and other items that you may use regularly.
Home Page Actions
- Click the Main Menu
to open the main menu and access your employees' timecards, schedules, and Dataviews & Reports within the application.
- Click the Home icon
to return to the Home Page from anywhere in the application.
- Click the Employee Search
icon to open the Search panel when you want to find a specific employee by full or partial Name or ID.
- Click the question mark
at the top right of the screen to get online help.
- Click the notifications icon
at the top right of the screen to see and act on alerts such as timecard exceptions and requests such as time-off and pending change requests. The badge number that appears next to the icon indicates how many notifications you have.
