Review Historical Corrections
This job aid explains how you can review corrections made in the timecard to a past time period.
Question: How do I know if a historical correction has been performed in Global Time System (GTS)?
Answer:
- Go to the corresponding employee’s timecard > select the calendar icon and choose the dates in question.
- If the date has a circle
associated with it, along with corresponding diamond icon(s)
for the particular entry (in/out or pay code), the user will know a historical correction has been made. Reference Tab 1 for a visual.
Also, the user can go to those particular date(s) via the timecard and reference the Historical Corrections tab. The tab will tell you the date of the historical correction, the pay code, amount, and either 1) is the correction an off-cycle or 2) will it be paid on the next scheduled payroll cycle, etc.
- If the Comments field in the Historical Corrections tab is blank, that means this correction will be paid on the next scheduled payroll cycle – reference Tab 2 for a visual.
- If the Comments field in the Historical Corrections tab displays Pay now if above 10 hrs. Below 10, click X & Save, that means the correction is an off-cycle – reference Tab 3 for a visual.
