Attestation Process - Timestamp Employee
As an hourly employee utilizing attestation, you must perform daily tasks logging into Dimensions to punch in and out for your shifts and lunch breaks and approve time daily. In addition, every pay period, you must approve your timecard. Also, there is an option to submit missed punches which are routed to your manager for approval.
Attestation Daily Workflow
- Log In - Log into Dimensions from your computer using the credentials provided to you.
- Punch In and Out- Use the Punch Tile on the Home Page to record in and out times for your shift. You will be prompted for daily approval when clocking out for the day.
- Punch In and Out for Lunch- You must punch in and out for your lunch break using the Punch tile.
- Submit Missed Punches – As needed (optional)
Clock In from Lunch Early (All Locations Except Watkins)
- From the Punch tile, select Clock In from Lunch with less than a 30-minute lunch period.
- Click Submit agreeing that you will complete your 30-minute break.
Clock In from Lunch Early (Watkins Only)
- From the Punch tile, select Clock In From Lunch with less than a 30-minute lunch period.
- Choose one of the options for not taking a full meal break and select Submit.
Clock Out for the Day Without Taking a Lunch (Except Watkins)
- From the Punch tile, select Clock Out for Day without a lunch break.
- Choose one of the meal break options and select Submit.
Clock Out for Day – Daily Approval
- From the Punch tile, select Clock Out for Day.
- Choose one of the options attesting to your time and rest breaks, then select Submit.
You are prompted to approve your time for the previous pay period when you first clock-in during the current pay period.
- Select Clock In. (The previous pay period approval is triggered on the first clock-in during the current pay period.)
- Select Okay and Submit to approve the previous pay period.
- Review the previous pay period timecard and select Continue Attestation.
- Choose one of the approval options and select Submit.
Using the Submit Missed Punches Option
When approving daily time with a missed punch, the system will trigger an option to submit a missed punch. In addition, there is a Submit Missed Punches option available at any time. Once submitted, the missed punch request will be directed to your manager for approval.
These steps outline the process to submit a missed punch using the Submit Missed Punches option in the Punch tile.
- From the Punch tile, select the Submit Missed Punched option.
- Select Yes and Next to submit the missed punch for manager approval.
- Complete the form entering the Punch Date and Punch Time (notes are optional) and select Next.
- Once the punch is submitted, your supervisor will review and approve your change request as appropriate.
- To track the status of your change request, select the View Pending option within your timecard.
